Looking Back: Improvathon

Improvathon... that seems so long ago, now. We lived in a different world. I can't remember much about it!!!

In my eyes, the improvathon was a great success. Sure, there were some people that we hoped to see there who couldn't make it out for whatever reason, and there were phases of the day during which the crowd intermittently thinned out. But in the true spirit of improvisation, this was a largely improvised event. It didn't matter that the whiteboard was not being updated regularly, and we were usually seeing the name of the troupe that had performed three sets earlier -- what mattered was that it was live, it was real, and we made it through the whole thing with an energetic spirit and smiles on our faces.

A big thank you to everyone who participated, and I look forward to the next one!

(Yes, Swithun, I'm a day late... been a big week for us all!)
